Show On Feb. 13, 14 - 15, 2009 ---- A Monumental Victory! DC Gun Ban is struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court!!! The first line in the Syllabus states. 1."The Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within a home. "The U.S. Supreme Court Stricts down 32 year ban on being able to own a handgun in Washington, D.C. All nine justices agree the Second Amendment does protect an individual's right! (That is in the first dissent, Justice Stevens, with whom Justice Souter, Justice Gingsburg, and Justice Breyerjoin, dissenting.
